WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several accidents and a disabled vehicle caused delays for Hudson Valley motorists Wednesday morning.
An accident on the northbound Taconic State Parkway, reported at 9:40 a.m., tied up traffic at Peekskill Hollow Road.
An earlier accident at the intersection of eastbound I-84 and I-684 resulted in heavy delays before being cleared. The accident was reported at 8 a.m.
Further south on I-684, an accident between Route 116 (Exit 7) in North Salem and Route 22/138 (Exit 6A) in Goldens Bridge, reported at 8:30 a.m., also resulted in stop-and-go traffic southbound before it was cleared.
An accident on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway blocked the right lane between Weaver Street (Exit 20) in Scarsdale and Mill Road (Exit 18) in New Rochelle and caused stop-and-go traffic. The accident was reported at 7:50 a.m.
The disabled vehicle, reported at 9:10 a.m., blocked the center lane of I-287 between I-87 and the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh.
