Registration is available online. All registered participants in the race will receive an event T-shirt and goodie bag, and there will be activities and music for all ages throughout registration and the race. There will also be a one-mile walk. Participants are encouraged to stay afterwards for the Brewster Founder’s Day and street fair.
The race is presented by the Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association. Proceeds from the race go to support the continued development of the Opportunity League Park in the town of Southeast.
The mission of the Opportunity League is to promote health, physical fitness, wellness, independence, and an enhanced quality of life through inclusive fitness programs, including recreation and sports competition for people of all abilities and all ages, in community based, and accessible multi-use parks.
The Opportunity League Parks will be universally designed and community based to include modified and typical sports fields, age appropriate accessible play, formal and informal exercise equipment, learning environments, and community gathering places.
