A recent survey taken in Utah said 67 percent of participants would rather do away with daylight saving time and simply operate on standard time all year the way Arizona does, National Geographic said.
The debate to change, however, isn't so cut and dried. Rocky Mountain Power said energy usage has more to do with temperature than daylight, but massive amounts of money could be lost in other areas if DST isn't kept, National Geographic said.
