Former Gov. Pataki To Deliver Keynote Address At Putnam EDC Breakfast

CARMEL, N.Y. – Former New York Gov. George Pataki will be the featured speaker as the Putnam County Economic Development Corporation will host its 2014 Recognition Breakfast at the Putnam County Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

The event will recognize two outstanding businesses in the county chosen by  the Board of Directors for their accomplishments over the past year.

Fryer Machine Systems is the recipient of the 2014 Business Leadership Award.

The award celebrates the successful implementation of innovative, economically  promising projects in a community or region.

Green Chimneys is the recipient of the 2014 Community Impact Award.

The award honors a company or organization that has a sustained commitment to the growth and development of its employees and the communities in which it does business.

That  impact might be the result of any number of activities including job creation, workforce development programs, volunteer efforts, board service or innovative business models that promote social goals.
