Clorox Sales Soar Amid Ebola Fears

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- With fears of Ebola on the rise, sales of disinfectant products and Clorox bleach have spiked as well, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.

Clorox sales have been up 28 percent in the last month due in large part to the Ebola scare.

Clorox has seen a 28 percent jump in sales over the last month. General disinfectants have risen 13 percent and hand santizer sales are up 8 percent Bloomberg Businessweek reported.

Products like lysol and Clorox are listed on the Center for Disease Control's website as products as having Ebola-killing properties, Bloomberg Businessweek said.
