Drunk 21-Year-Old Crashes Into Vacant Business In Nassau County, Police Say A 21-year-old man was hospitalized following a suspected drunk-driving crash into a vacant business on Long Island. The early-morning incident happened in Westbury, on Old Country Road near Carman Avenue, at around 2:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Nassau County Police said Aidan Schwartz, of Wantagh, was driving a Honda sedan when he crashed into a vacant building at 1137 Old Country Road. The incident happened at around 3:20 a.m. Monday, May 20, in Ronkonkoma near the intersection of Ronkonkoma Avenue and Third Street. Suffolk County Police said Elyse Crivaro, of Holbrook, was walking across Ronkonkoma Avenue when she was struck by a southbound car. The vehicle, described as a dark colored sedan, fled the scene.
