Suspect On Loose After Long Island Bank Robbery A suspect is on the loose after a bank robbery on Long Island. A man entered the Chase branch in Shirley, located at 645 Northbound William Floyd Parkway, at about 3:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and handed the teller a note demanding cash, according to Suffolk County Police. The teller complied and the suspect fled with cash. The robber was described as a white man with brown hair, who appeared to be in his 40s. He was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Man Admits Stabbing Wife To Death As Couple's Son Desperately Tried Saving Her On Long Island A Long Island man formally confessed to stabbing his wife to death as their teenage son desperately tried to save her.  Ryszard Murawski, age 44, of Lindenhurst, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the death of Wioleta Murawski.
