According to Stew Leonard's website, this family-owned and operated fresh food store has been a beloved shopping destination since its founding in 1969. Over the years, it has expanded to multiple locations, including Long Island.
Stew Leonard’s follows a unique, one-way aisle design that leads customers through a fun, interactive shopping experience—complete with animatronic characters, live product demonstrations, and an ever-changing selection of seasonal offerings, as noted on its website.
Brittney Tavello, Director of Training and a third-generation family member, shared her appreciation for the award.
"We love Long Island! There's nothing better than bringing our shoppers the sweetest local corn and fresh-caught fish straight from Montauk," she said. "We've learned that Long Islanders know their steaks – our butchers can barely keep those beautiful bone-in porterhouses in the case! And seeing families enjoy our chef-prepared meals makes all those early mornings in the kitchen worthwhile.
"Thank you to Daily Voice and our shoppers on Long Island! We are so proud to be a part of the community."
Congratulations to Stew Leonard’s!
