56-Year-Old Dies From Injuries After 2-Vehicle Glen Cove Crash A man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in Glen Cove. A 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 driven by a 64-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Brewster Street and making a left turn when it collided with a 2018 Honda motorcycle, Nassau County Police said. 14-Year-Old Critically Injured In Lake Ronkonkoma Crash Involving Nesconset Woman A teenager suffered severe injuries in a crash near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in Lake Ronkonkoma. A 56-year-old Nesconset woman was driving a 2024 Volkswagen SUV on Smith Road, near Cenacle Road, when the vehicle struck the 14-year-old boy who was rollerblading in the roadway, according to the Suffolk County Police. Toyota Recalling 43K Vehicles Due To Faulty Tow Hitch Covers Tens of thousands of Toyota SUVs are subject to a sizeable recall due to a faulty tow hitch cover that may increase the possibility of a crash, officials say. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall of approximately 43,400 Toyota Sequoia Hybrids that may have tow hitch covers that can detach from the bumper and fall into the roadway, causing a hazard for other drivers.
