Authorities are searching for those responsible for a high-value burglary on Long Island that netted an estimated $500,000 in valuables. The break-in took place overnight between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 at Wieco Wire and Cable Inc., located on Rodeo Drive in Brentwood, according to Suffolk County Police. Police are investigating after human remains were found not far from a high school on Long Island. The discovery was made in Brentwood, near the interaction of Fifth Avenue and Bancroft Road, shortly before 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4. A 51-year-old man from Brentwood was driving a 2012 Infiniti G37 westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) with his 6-year-old daughter, Amaia Rivera, in the backseat.
