A Long Island school superintendent has bee accused of driving while intoxicated after a crash on Long Island seriously injured a motorist. Suffolk County Police said the incident occurred at about 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in Sayville, at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Depot Street. Teen Accused Of Impaired Driving After LI Expressway Crash Causes Oil Tanker To Overturn
A teenager has been accused of driving while impairing after a crash on the Long Island Expressway caused an oil tanker to overturn. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 30, at approximately 1:20 p.m. in Manorville. Austin Richuitti, a 19-year-old from Bellport, was driving a 2011 Cadillac at a high rate of speed westbound on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 69 when he collided with the rear of a 2010 International oil truck, according to Suffolk County Police. A man attempting to cross a Long Island roadway was struck and killed by a car. Nassau County Police reported that a 2004 Honda traveling westbound on Front Street near 33 Front Street struck the pedestrian, who was crossing from the south side to the north side. Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old ID'd As Victim On East Patchogue Roadway
A 31-year-old was killed in a crash on Long Island. The incident happened in East Patchogue, on Americus Avenue south of Brookhaven Avenue, at around 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18. Suffolk County Police said the man, Noe Moran Contreras, of East Patchogue, was operating a dirt bike when he lost control and struck a pole. He was taken by ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue where he was pronounced dead. Investigators impounded the bike for a safety check.
