Officers from the Rotterdam Police Department responded to a residence on Cobblestone Court for a report of a stabbing at around 7:20 p.m. Sunday, March 16. Inside, they discovered Catherine Haggerty, 79, deceased, a Rotterdam Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Voice. Eastbound I-90 was fully closed at milepost 158, at the I-88 interchange, at 12:45 p.m. due to a crash involving a tractor-trailer, the New York State Thruway Authority said. Traffic cameras showed the tractor-trailer in a jack-knifed position with debris scattered across the roadway. The roadway had partially reopened by 3 p.m .
