Woman Nabbed Stealing Vehicle From Motel In Region After Crash: Police A 36-year-old woman with purple and blue hair was nabbed for allegedly stealing a car from a Hudson Valley motel parking lot. Kayla Jones, of the Bronx, was charged with grand larceny on Tuesday, Dec. 10, after security video showed a purple-haired woman wearing a black sweatshirt and grey pants, get into the car at the Stony Point Budget Inn and drive away on Route 9W, said Lt. Sullivan County Woman Nabbed Twice In 24 Hours For Stealing Vehicles, Police Say A woman from the region who was released on an appearance ticket after allegedly stealing a vehicle was arrested again 24 hours later after stealing another car. The incident occurred in Sullivan County on Sunday, Oct. 27, in Monticello. Couple From Region Admits Killing Grandfather, Stealing His Belongings, DA Says A Hudson Valley man and woman have pleaded guilty to murder and manslaughter in connection with the strangling death of the man's grandfather. According to the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, the couple "brutally" killed the victim in 2023 at a house in New City sometime between Sunday, Jan. 29, and Monday, Jan. 30. Woman From Region Admits To Crashing Stolen Car Into 5 People On Sidewalk  Peekskill, A Northern Westchester woman has pleaded guilty to crashing a stolen car into five pedestrians, including two children. The incident causing serious injuries happened on Friday, March 15, in Manhattan. Sharon Goodwin, age 32, of Peekskill, pleaded guilty in a New York State Supreme Court to one count of second-degree assault, a felony.  Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L.
