Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing Smithtown Teen A Long Island teen has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locatng her. Vianna Dettling was reported missing by a family member today after she was last seen getting into a white sedan in front of her home in Smithtown at approximately 3:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. Her exact age has not been released. Driver Injured In Road Rage Shooting Near Long Island Shopping Center A driver was shot near a Long Island shopping center in an apparent act of road rage. The incident happened in Lawrence, at the Five Towns Shopping Center on Rockaway Turnpike, at around 8:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16. Nassau County Police said a 54-year-old man was driving a pickup truck northbound on Rockaway Turnpike when he got into a road rage confrontation with another man driving a sedan. Fatal Overnight Hit-Run Crash: 22-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Patchogue One person was killed in an overnight hit-and-run Long Island crash. The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Monday, June 10, in  Patchogue. According to Suffolk County Police, the victim was operating a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle and traveling eastbound on Main Street when a westbound car turned left in front of the motorcycle onto Rider Avenue, causing the collision. The vehicle, described as an older, dark-colored sedan, fled southbound on Rider Avenue.
