A man is facing a felony charge under Leandra’s Law after allegedly driving drunk with a child in his vehicle at a Hudson Valley service area. The incident happened at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, when troopers in Rockland County patrolling the Ramapo Service Area observed a 2017 Nissan pickup truck parked with its headlights on. Rollover Crash Victim Rescued From Car, Then Nabbed For Drunk Driving In Region: Police
Several people were nabbed on drunk driving charges in the Hudson Valley over the holiday weekend, including a Westchester woman rescued from a rolled-over car and a taxi driver, police said. The arrests were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and were all made over Columbus Day weekend. The first incident happened on Friday, Oct. 11 in Putnam Valley, when a car crashed and flipped on Church Road in the area of Kramers Pond Road. Police To Target Speeding, Aggressive Drivers During NY Enforcement Crackdown
Speeding drivers, watch out — police in New York are set to crack down on aggressive motorists during a weeklong enforcement crackdown. The "Speed Week" enforcement initiative, which will begin on Monday, June 3, and continue through Sunday, June 9, will target speeding and aggressive drivers throughout New York, Gov.
