A woman suffered severe injuries in a crash at a busy Long Island intersection. It happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Oakdale. Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman on Long Island. The incident happened in the Brookhaven hamlet of Sound Beach, on Sound Beach Boulevard, at around 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.
