Broken Arm, Fall Injuries Trigger Massive Recall Of Popular Stools A popular children's tower stool is being recalled after eight children were injured in falls, including one who broke their arm, officials said. Cosyland Official issued the recall for about 125,200 Cosyland Children's Tower Stools, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, May 14. They were sold on Amazon from April 2021 through November 2025 for about $70. The stools can collapse or tip over while being used, increasing the risk of serious injury or death. A child's torso can also fit through openings on the front and back sides, creating an entrapment hazard. There …

Child Falls From Eighth Floor Of NY Apartment Building, Survives With Minor Injuries A child miraculously survived a harrowing fall from the eighth floor of a Westchester County apartment building. The incident happened in Mount Vernon on Sunday night, Dec. 7, when a 12-year-old child fell from an eighth-floor terrace of an apartment building at 40 East Sydney Ave., the city's Director of Communications Timothy Allen confirmed to Daily Voice.  The child was treated for minor injuries, Allen said.  More information on how the child fell was not made available.
