'Fugitive From Justice' Wanted For Crime Spree In Region Extradited A Hudson Valley man wanted for a slew of alleged crimes in the region has been extradited after being arrested out of state.  Orange County resident Joseph Michael Flood, age 42, of Port Jervis, was returned to Sullivan County on Thursday, Nov. 7, after failing to show up in court in 2023 for a crime spree, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. Chaboty said Flood was picked up from the Morris County Jail in New Jersey and returned after being arrested by the New Jersey State Police. Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Dog In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man is facing charges after police say they received a complaint that he was having sexual contact with a dog. Late in the afternoon on Wednesday, June 12, in Ulster County, police arrested Michael J. Cook, age 39, of Saugerties. As a result of an ensuing investigation following the complaint, Cook was charged with sexual abuse and criminal mischief.   Cook was processed at the Saugerties Police Department, arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court, and released on his own recognizance to reappear in court later.
