No Charges Filed In Christmas Day Fatal Crash In Hudson Valley, Police Say A man who was driving a pickup truck that was involved in a crash with a car that killed two Hudson Valley teens on Christmas will not be charged, police said. According to Village of Liberty Police Chief Steven D'Agata, the crash occurred at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 25, on Route 52 near Sullivan Avenue. Man's Body Found In Wooded Area In Northern Westchester Authorities are investigating the death of a man known for living off the grid after his body was discovered in a wooded area in Northern Westchester.  The body was found on Friday, Dec. 29 around 2 p.m. in a wooded region in the Crompond area near the Yorktown and Cortlandt border, Yorktown Police announced.  The department made the discovery after the elderly man's friends reported that he had missed several lunch gatherings, police said. Man Jumps To Death From Bear Mountain Bridge A 48-year-old man jumped to his death from a Hudson Valley bridge. The incident took place on Friday, Nov. 10 at the Bear Mountain Bridge near in the town of Cortlandt in Northern Westchester County. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, New Jersey resident Aleksey P. Mikhaylov, of Northvale, was located and pronounced dead at the scene.   No signs of foul play were discovered at this time, Hicks said. The Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office was on scene for the investigation.

Man Drowns At Boat Basin In Westchester A man was found dead from drowning at a boat basin in the area, according to authorities. The incident took in Rye around 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the Rye Boat Basin on Milton Road. Officers responded to the boat basin on a report of an unidentified man in the water, said Lt.
