Hudson Valley residents are being told to not be alarmed when they hear an upcoming test of the Indian Point sirens that will sound throughout numerous counties. The test is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14 at around 10:30 a.m., according to Westchester County government officials. In the wake of a rabid bear cub being discovered in Northern Westchester, concerned residents will soon be able to bring their pets in to receive a free rabies vaccine, officials said.
