New Flash Flood Threat: Separate Rounds Of Slow-Moving Storms Take Aim At Region
Separate rounds of slow-moving storms with heavy downpours at times will bring a new risk of flash flooding to the area into early next week. Projected Snowfall Totals, Timing Released For Storm That Will Start Active Weather Pattern
Projected snowfall totals and an updated time frame have been released for an early week storm that will cover a wide area in the Northeast. The latest models show the likelihood of between 1 and 3 inches of accumulation for most of the region. Some areas farther north and inland could see between 3 and 6 inches of snowfall. Severe Weather Alert: Rounds Of Strong Thunderstorms With Damaging Winds Headed To Area
There will be a big change in the weather pattern following another sunny and warm day. Friday, June 26 will be mostly sunny and a bit more humid with the high temperature in the mid 80s. Then comes the big change as a warm front approaches the area overnight.
