100 Infant Deaths Lead To Recall Of Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleeper
Almost 5 million Rock ‘n Play Sleepers have been recalled after approximately 100 infants have reportedly died in sleepers-related incidents. The product was initially recalled in 2019 after 30 infants were reported to have died in the sleeper, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Since the initial recall, 70 more deaths have been reported, eight of which occurred after the recall. Man From Region Nabbed For 3 Commercial Burglaries, Arrested For Shoplifting, Police Say
A man from the region who had been nabbed for three alleged commercial burglaries was arrested again for shoplifting at a Walmart store. Sullivan County resident Justus McMoore, age 37, of Monticello, was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 22 in the town of Thompson after a brief foot chase. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, McMoore was spotted by security staff in Walmart allegedly shoplifting $161 dollars worth of merchandise. Clorox Recalls Pine-Sol Cleaners Due To Infection-Causing Bacteria
Parent company Clorox is recalling eight Pine-Sol disinfectant cleaning products due to fears they may contain infection-causing bacteria, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. To date, testing has identified bacteria in certain recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022. Troopers in Northern Westchester County said the two are wanted in connection with a theft that occurred at a Walmart store in Mohegan Lake. Sakar International announced a recall of approximately 12, 655 of its Tony Hawk Silver Metallic multi-purpose helmets, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Burglar Breaks Into Capital District Walmart, Steals Guns
Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a Walmart in the Capitol District and stole multiple guns. The burglar in Albany County got in through the Glenmont store’s garden center at around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, according to Bethlehem Police.
