Westchester Congressman Arrested During Voting Rights Protest At US Capitol A New York congressman was among more than two dozen people arrested during a voting rights protest at the US Capitol, authorities announced. Congressman Jamaal Bowman, who represents the southern half of Westchester County and parts of the north Bronx, was arrested for demonstrating outside the Capitol after the group protesting was warned multiple time, police said. The demonstration came hours after Democrats failed to change Senate rules regarding voting rights legislation in advance of the 2022 midterm elections. New National Poll Shows Areas Where Americans Are United, Divided A large national study has tackled questions about what issues divide Americans and what values they share. The study, conducted by the Siena College Research Institute, surveyed 6,077 Americans about issues including whether they believe much of the mainstream media is fake, vote choice and more.  Researchers found that Americans are divided on a number of issues, including voting rights, a path to citizenship, assault weapons and abortion.
