If Republicans in New York break their 16-year dry spell at the governor’s mansion, it will most likely be with Congressman Lee Zeldin, according to a fresh Emerson College poll. He garnered 34 percent support among likely Republican primary voters in the poll. The COVID-19 vaccine has become the latest thing to become split along “red” and “blue” party lines, according to a newly released study. A new report released in The New York Times, which examined survey and vaccine administration data for nearly every US county, found that those willing to receive a vaccination and actual vaccination rates to date were lower in regions that voters sought to re-elect former President Donald Trump. With the 2020 presidential election rapidly approaching, Democratic voters have chosen their early favorite candidate, though each is preferable to President Donald Trump, according to a new poll. A new Siena College poll found that among registered Democrats, Bernie Sanders has the support of 25 percent of voters in New York, followed by Mike Bloomberg at 21 percent.
