A 54-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash after the other driver allegedly fell asleep and crossed into his lane of travel. The incident took place in Dutchess County in LaGrange around 3:40 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15 on Route 55. A police officer was seriously injured at the site of a crash when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Hudson Valley. The Orange County crash took place in New Windsor on Litte Britain Road around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27. New Windsor Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Little Britain Road in the area of Executive Drive, said New Windsor Police Chief Daniel Valeri. One person suffered serious injuries and two others were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened around noontime Wednesday, Aug. 23 on eastbound I-84 in the town of Newburgh. Dutchess County resident Li Hongling, age 50, of Poughkeepsie, was killed Sunday, Aug. 6, on Route 9W in Ulster County in the town of Highland.
