I-84 Crash: 20-Year-Old From Hudson Valley Seriously Injured
One person suffered serious injuries and two others were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened around noontime Wednesday, Aug. 23 on eastbound I-84 in the town of Newburgh. Preliminary investigation revealed that a blue 2007 Honda Civic was traveling east on Interstate 84 when the operator of the vehicle, identified as a 20-year-old Middletown man, lost control of the car causing it to leave the highway and roll into the median, New York State Police said. One man is in critical condition and others were injured during a disturbance in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 3:10 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. A Hudson Valley woman killed when an SUV crossed the roadway into oncoming traffic has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Li Hongling, age 50, of Poughkeepsie, was killed Sunday, Aug. 6, on Route 9W in Ulster County in the town of Highland.
