Hudson Valley Man Admits Selling Fentanyl In Deadly Overdose, DA Says
A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to selling fentanyl to an area man who died from an overdose.
Orange County resident Timothy Lempicki, age 36, of Washingtonville, a village in Blooming Grove, pled guilty on Wednesday, April 3, to the crimes of manslaughter and criminal sale of a controlled substance in connection with the death of a man who was found dead in New Windsor on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
An autopsy revealed that the man had died due to a fatal overdose of fentanyl, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.

Six Hudson Valley Residents Accused Of Scamming $250,000 From Businesses
Six Hudson Valley residents have been indicted by a grand jury in a wide-ranging fraud scheme that costs area businesses more than $250,000.
The fraud scheme targeted businesses in Orange County including in Newburgh and Middletown and ran from March 2021 through April, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office

Anthony Dubuisson, age 25, of Newburgh

Man, Woman Busted With 1,258 Envelopes Of Heroin/Fentanyl, Assault Rifle, Police Say
A man and a woman were allegedly busted with some 1,258 envelopes of heroin and an assault rifle during a search warrant by an area anti-violence task force.
The arrests took place in Orange County around 5 a.m., Friday, June 5, when members of the City of Newburgh Police Department, FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, Town of New Windsor Police Department, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a search warrant in the basement of 87 Carson Ave., in the City of Newburgh.

'Soda Pop' Admits To Attempted Murder In Area Shooting
A 23-year-old man has pleaded guilty in connection with the attempted murder in the area.
Ryan Discua, aka “Soda Pop,” of New Windsor, pleaded guilty Monday, Dec. 16, also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
During the hearing in Orange County Court, Discua admitted to illegally possessing a loaded 9mm pistol and shooting the other man on Oct. 9, on Williams Street, seriously injuring the victim, the DA's Office said.
