Five Suspects Apprehended After Shots Fired In Hudson Valley Five suspects have been apprehended after an early afternoon shooting in the Hudson Valley. It happened in Rockland County on Saturday, Jan. 29 at around 1:45 p.m. in New City. Officers from the Clarkstown Police Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots being fired outside of 3 Turnberry Court.  Officers arrived on scene and observed a black Mercedes-Benz fleeing at a high rate of speed, according to Clarkstown Police, who said a brief track ensued that resulted in the Mercedes striking a utility pole causing it to become disabled.  All five occupants exited the vehi…

Know Him? Man Wanted In Connection With Shooting In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted for attempted murder during a shooting incident in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 6:30 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 26, when members of the Clarkstown Police responded to a report of shots fired in Central Nyack, said Detective Norman Peters of the Clarkstown Police. When officers responded they found all of the suspects had fled. A search of the area turned up a total of four shell casings, Peters said. Area Man Wounded During Shooting Incident, Police Say A 27-year-old man was wounded during a shooting incident in the area. The shooting took place in Orange County around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 97 Fullerton Ave., in Newburgh. According to the City of Newburgh Police, officers located the wounded man who had been shot in the leg and the back when they responded to a report of a shooting. Officers performed life-saving measures before the victim was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for further evaluation.
