Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly attempted to force their way into an apartment in the region and then shot one person, seriously wounding the victim. The incident took place in Ulster County around 10:20 p.m., Friday, March 8 in Ellenville at 122 Canal St. According to Ellenville Police Chief Philip Mattracion, responding officers found one man who had been shot and was bleeding uncontrollably. Police are asking for tips after two people opened fire on a car in the region, causing the vehicle to crash into a house. The incident happened at around 9:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, in Schenectady, near Eastern and Elmer avenues. Schenectady Police said the vehicle was driving near the former Elmer Avenue Elementary School campus when two suspects walking nearby shot at the car.
