Police Officer Seriously Injured After Tractor-Trailer Strikes Her Vehicle In Hudson Valley
A police officer was seriously injured when her patrol vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Orange County around 9:50 p.m., Tuesday, July 11 at the intersection of Route 94 and Warwick Turnpike in Warwick. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, state police responded to the area for a report that a 2011 Freightliner tractor-trailer and a town of Warwick police vehicle, a 2019 Ford Explorer had crashed. SUV Crashes Into Local Firehouse In Hudson Valley
Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a woman drove an SUV into the front of a firehouse. The incident took place in Orange County around 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the village of Chester on Main Street near Route 94. The woman, whose license was suspended, was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the village of Chester Police said. Missing 16-Year-Old Girl Found Safe, New Windsor Police Say
This story has been updated. A teen who police had asked the public for help in locating has been found safe. Diana DiMartino, 16, ran away from St. Christopher's Group Home on Route 94 in New Windsor, said New Windsor Deputy Chief Michael Farbent. A spokesman for the school, Dennis da Costa, director of Communications, said, "The resident was safely returned to campus by her parent." Farbent confirmed the teen had been found and returned to the school.
