Filming To Close Major Rockland County Roadway A busy Rockland County roadway will be closed on Monday, Dec. 16, to film a popular television series. The causeway will be closed between Ridge Road and Stonewall Lane in Clarkstown from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the filming of the NBC Peacock series Poker Face. Clarkstown Police said a detour route would be posted, routing vehicles to Route 304, Route 9W, and Old Haverstraw Rd. The crash took place at 3:20 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, in Rockland County on North Middletown Road, in Pearl River. A 76-year-old man from Haverstraw was riding his bike northbound on North Middletown Road and was crossing the Route 304 exit ramp when he was hit by a vehicle that was exiting the roadway at the ramp, according to Captain James Brown, of the Orangetown Police Department. Police ID Rockland Man Who Died After His Vehicle Fell From Route 304 Overpass Police have released the name of a man who died in a single-vehicle Hudson Valley crash when his vehicle fell from Route 304 onto Route 59. Michael Magee, age 25, of Stony Point, died around 3:45 a.m., Sunday, June 13, following the crash in Nanuet, said Clarkstown Police Detective Norm Peters. According to Peters, Magee was reportedly driving his Ford Mustang, northbound in the southbound lanes on Route 304 for a considerable distance, upwards of over two miles.  The vehicle then plowed through a guardrail on Route 304 falling onto the eastbound lanes of Route 59 …

Man Dies After Vehicle Falls Off Overpass In Area A man died after his car fell from an overpass in the area. The incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday, June 13 in Rockland County. When Clarkstown Police arrived at the scene in Nanuet, they discovered the overturned vehicle in the eastbound lane near the median on Route 59. The sole passenger was declared dead at the scene. Police say they believe the vehicle fell off the Route 304 overpass onto Route 59. The man's identity has not yet been released. The crash took place around 11:05 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, in Nanuet, in the area of West Nyack Road and Route 304, said the Clarkstown Police Department.
