17-Year-Old Victim In Hudson Valley Double-Fatal Crash Was 'Easy To Love'
Friends and family members are remembering a 17-year-old teen killed in a double-fatal crash as loving sports and his family.
Jack J. Noble, of the hamlet of Port Ewen, died unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 8, during the collision in Ulster County around 9 a.m., Monday, Jan. 8 on Route 28 in the town of Shandaken.
A native of Kingston, Jack was a junior at Kingston High School. He was an honor roll student and a Varsity athlete, his obituary said.

Attempted Murder Suspect Extradited To Hudson Valley To Face Charges, Police Say
A man from the region wanted for the alleged attempted murder and the violent assault of another man has been caught in Florida and extradited back to the area.
Ulster County resident Mainor E. Sagastume, age 33, of Kingston, was charged following extradition from Lee County in Flordia on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
According to Capt. Joseph Sciutto, of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, on Saturday, Feb. 11, deputies responded to Ridge Road in the Town of Hurley for the report of a violent assault that had just occurred.

The community is helping a local family after the father was killed in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer in the Hudson Valley.
Ulster County resident Tramayne Holmes, age 40, of the hamlet of Milton, was killed at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, when he lost control of his vehicle on Route 28, in Kingston, crossed over into the westbound lane, and struck a 2022 Peterbilt tractor-trailer head-on, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.

40-Year-Old Killed In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash
A man from the region was killed in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer.
The crash took place in Ulster County in Kingston on Route 28 around 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 26.
An investigation revealed that a 2006 Subaru Legacy, driven by Ulster County resident Tramayne Holmes, age 40, of the hamlet of Milton, was traveling eastbound on Route 28 when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed over into the westbound lane, and struck a 2022 Peterbilt tractor-trailer head-on, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
Holmes was pronounced dead at the scene, Nevel said.
