Lane Closure: I-84 In Hudson Valley To Be Affected A lane closure will impact traffic on a busy highway in the Hudson Valley for numerous days, officials are warning.  Beginning on Sunday, May 21, one lane of Interstate 84 eastbound and westbound in Putnam County from Exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) in Kent to the Connecticut state line will close, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.  The closure will last from Sunday, May 21 through Thursday, May 25 as well as Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.   The lane closure is to accommodate roadway striping, officials said.&nbs…

Lane Closures Scheduled For I-84 Stretch Weekday lane closures are planned for a stretch of I-84 counties, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The NYSDOT issued an advisory stating that there will be single-lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-84 in Putnam and Dutchess counties between Exit 44 (Route 52) in East Fishkill and Exit 65 (Route 312) in the town of Southeast, weekdays beginning Monday, June 14 through approximately Friday, June 25. Work began on Monday, Nov. 9 on the Saw Mill River Parkway near the Marble Avenue exit, where the roadway is prone to flooding in Westchester. During the eight-month project, the parkway will be reduced to one lane in both directions. Motorists using the highway in Dutchess and Putnam counties will face single-lane closures for pavement repairs.
