Motorist Killed After Crash Following Police Pursuit In Hudson Valley A man was killed after being ejected from a vehicle he was driving during a crash with an SUV in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 9:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at East Main Street and Orange Street in Port Jervis. Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden stated that a Deerpark Police officer tried to stop a motorcycle traveling southbound on Route 209 near the Port Jervis City line. Suspect Caught After Assaulting Hudson Valley Woman Pumping Gas, Crashing Her Vehicle: Police A Hudson Valley man has been charged with a hate crime after allegedly robbing and stealing a woman's car at a gas station. The incident took place in Ulster County around 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Mobil Station on Route 209 in the town of Wawarsing. Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Woman Driving Drunk With Child In Car, Police Say A strange series of events led to the arrest of a woman who was allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car, authorities announced. Members of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office stopped the driver at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 on Route 209 in Wawarsing for an expired vehicle inspection. During that traffic stop, it was determined that the driver “was not able to safely continue driving,” and she contacted a friend to pick her up at the scene to bring her home safely.
