Hudson Valley Man Charged With Burglary Of Business
A man from the region has been charged with the alleged burglary of a business that caused extensive damage. Dutchess County resident Konrad Gumper, age 46, of LaGrange, was arrested early Thursday, June 7, in connection with a burglary at Vale Fox Distillery on Noxon Road in LaGrange. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office deputies located Gumper on the premises when he fled on foot, and an area search was conducted. A fugitive wanted in Westchester is now in custody after leaving the scene of a car crash and leading authorities on a chase through a wooded area in the Hudson Valley, police said. The incident leading to the man's arrest happened on Saturday, Aug. 5 just before 5:30 p.m., when Dutchess County sheriff's deputies responded to a reported car crash and order of protection violation in LaGrange in the area of Noxon Road and Budd Lane. Police Trying To ID Man Involved In LaGrange Road-Rage Incident
State troopers are looking for a man who allegedly punctuated an instance of road rage by brandishing a handgun. The yet-unidentified man threatened another driver in Dutchess County in the Town of LaGrange with a handgun at the intersection of Noxon and Titusville Roads on Saturday, Sept. 19 at approximately 12: 30 a.m. The suspect is believed to be a white-haired caucasian male between 40 and 50 years old, and was driving a black Honda Accord or Civic.
