ID Released For 30-Year-Old Man Killed After Being Hit By Two Vehicles On I-87
A 30-year-old man killed after being hit by two vehicles on I-87 has been identified.
Orange County resident Anthony Shipman III, of New Windsor, was found dead on the highway around 1:20 a.m., Sunday, March 8, after New York State Police responded to a call of a person sitting on the guide rail on the northbound side of the highway in the town of Newburgh, said state police.
An investigation at the scene found that David R. Kurtz, 48, of Walden, was driving his 2020 Chevy Blazer northbound when he struck Shipman, who was in the roadway for an unknown reason.

Area Physician Assistant Charged With Forcibly Touching Patient, Police Say
An area physician assistant has been arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a patient's breast during a doctor's visit.
Sean Cavanaugh, 44, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 13, for an incident which took place on July 3, 2019, said New Windsor Police Deputy Chief Michael Farbent.
According to the chief, the victim went for a follow-up appointment with Cavanaugh at Vitality Psychiatry Group Practice located at 3125 Route 9W in New Windsor.

Four Nabbed For Vandalizing Numerous Buildings With Graffiti In Area, Police Say
Four men have been arrested for allegedly "tagging" and spray painting graffiti on numerous buildings in Beacon.
The four, John P. Skivington, 24, Bryan D. Nava, 27, Niko O. Beckles, 24, all of New Windsor, and Carlos Reyes, 21, of Newburgh, were arrested on various dates following the damage discovered on Dec. 23 on Main Street, said Det. Lt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police.
After finding the graffiti, police posted camera surveillance photos of four men on Facebook and the four were identified.
