23-Year-Old Passenger Killed In Hudson Valley Crash A Hudson Valley man who was a passenger in an Infiniti sedan was killed in a single-vehicle crash. The collision occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of Wappinger, at about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, on All Angels Hill Road near Dugan Lane.  According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Infiniti sedan with five occupants was traveling southbound on All Angels Hill Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Body Of 20-Year-Old Recovered From Creek In Hudson Valley, Police Say The body of a 20-year-old Hudson Valley man has been recovered by law enforcement from an area creek after a possible drowning was reported. The incident took place around 6:20 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, when the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, New Hackensack Fire Department, and Town of Wappinger Ambulance to a possible drowning in the Wappinger Creek located behind the Wappingers Falls Trailer Park on New Hackensack Road. New Update: Four-Alarm Fire Destroys Building With Businesses, Apartments In Area Ten families and four businesses lost everything they owned during a four-alarm fire that swept through a three-story building that included both businesses and apartments. The fire started around 1:09 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Dutchess County at 10 Market Street, said Village of Wappingers Falls Police Lt. P. Capparelli.  The first officers on the scene, Sgt. Ludwig and Officer Farrell found an active fire at the scene when the responded to call reporting smoke, Capparelli said.
