19-Year-Old Shot Hours After Murder In Same Area In Hudson Valley
Hours after a 19-year-old Hudson Valley resident was shot and killed, another teen was shot and wounded in the same area. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 11:15 a.m., Saturday, May 13, in the area of North White Street, near Main Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. Sgt. 19-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Shot, Killed, Suspect On Run
Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for a suspect after a 19-year-old area man was shot and later died in surgery. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 2 a.m., Saturday, May 13, in the city of Poughkeepsie. Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the Poughkeepsie Police said the Poughkeepsie resident was found shot in the area of Soldiers Fountain at Market and Montgomery streets. Police in one area city responded to seven shootings and numerous calls of shots fired in a two-day time period. The City of Poughkeepsie Police said the violence began around 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, when officers responded were dispatched to Lent Street for a report of past occurred shots fired.
