Teen Facing DWI, Manslaughter Charges After HS Student Killed In Hudson Valley Crash
A Rockland County teen who was allegedly driving drunk when he crashed his vehicle, killing a 16-year-old girl, will appear in court on Monday, April 26.
The unidentified 17-year-old driver has been charged with:
Second-degree manslaughter,
Second-degree assault,
First-degree vehicular assault,
Second-degree vehicular manslaughter,
DWI.
The crash, that claimed the life of Jacqueline Zangrilli and injured four others, took place around 2:50 a.m. Saturday, April 24 in Rockland County on Route 202 in the Village of Montebello.

71-Year-Old Charged In Connection To Killing Of Another Woman In Area, Police Say
State Police have arrested a woman on manslaughter charges in connection to the alleged killing of another woman.
Joan M. Darcy, age 71, of Wappinger, was arrested on Wednesday, April 7, and charged with manslaughter for the November death of the other woman.
On Thursday, Nov. 5, State Police from the Wappinger barracks responded to a residence on Scarborough Lane in the town of Wappinger for a deceased woman, Hicks said.
An investigation revealed the victim, identified as Carol A. Darcy, 72, died of blunt force injuries.
