Covid-19: New Warning Issued For Exposure At Three Businesses In Area
Health officials have issued a new warning about possible COVID-19 exposure at three businesses in the Hudson Valley.
The Putnam County Department of Health issued alerts on Thursday, Nov. 19 for these businesses with dates and times.
The Home Depot, at 80 Independent Way in Brewster:

Dr. John Alexander, Chiropractor In Area, Dies Suddenly At 58
Dr. John A. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.
Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.
John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.
On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.
"John loved being a chiropractor and loved his patients," his obituary said. "Many became his best friends."

Man, Woman Killed In Two-Vehicle Northern Westchester Crash

Police are investigating a double-fatal two-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester.
The crash took place around 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25 on Route 6N, said Yorktown Police.
When police and fire officials arrived on the scene, they found a 50-year-old Mahopac man, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, dead.

Covid-19: Alert Issued For Exposure At Area Restaurant
An alert has been issued for potential exposure to COVID-19 for those who worked at or visited a restaurant in the area.
The Putnam County Health Department said that a member of the public who has tested positive was at Arturo's Tavern, located on Route 6 in Mahopac, on Monday, Sept. 21, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
"Please watch for symptoms of COVID-19 which include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea," the department said. "Contact yo…
