Human Remains, Car Found In Pond Linked To Couple From Region Missing For Over 40 Years A vehicle containing a human bone found submerged in an out-of-state pond may be the clue needed to figure out what happened to a Westchester County couple missing for over four decades. In an announcement on Saturday, Nov. 23, the Glynn County Police Department in Georgia revealed that a submerged Lincoln Continental had been found on Friday, Nov. 22 in a pond between the Royal Inn Hotel and Interstate 95 on New Jesup Highway in the town of Brunswick.  According to the department, the Continental is similar to the description of a vehicle believed to have been driven by Scarsdale…

Passing Car Takes Door Off Police Cruiser In Westchester: Video State police are urging motorists to move over for emergency vehicles after a door was taken off one trooper's cruiser by a car that failed to do so in Westchester.  The incident happened on Sunday, April 2 around 11:30 a.m., when Trooper Robert Schaeffer was exiting his cruiser after pulling over on Interstate 95 in New Rochelle, according to state police.  Although his cruiser's emergency lights were activated, a passing car still failed to obey the state's "Move Over" law and took the door off the cruiser as Schaeffer opened it. State Police Cruiser Rear-Ended By Tesla On 'Autopilot' On I-95 A state patrol cruiser was among two vehicles hit by a Tesla driving in autopilot on a busy stretch of Interstate 95 in Fairfield County. It happened on Saturday morning, Dec. 7 on the northbound side near Exit 15 in Norwalk, Connecticut State Police said. Two police cars responded to a disabled vehicle in the left-center lane when the incident occurred. The troopers activated their emergency lights and set up a flare pattern behind the cruisers while waiting for a tow truck for the disabled vehicle.
