23-Year-Old Passenger Killed In Hudson Valley Crash
A Hudson Valley man who was a passenger in an Infiniti sedan was killed in a single-vehicle crash. The collision occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of Wappinger, at about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, on All Angels Hill Road near Dugan Lane. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Infiniti sedan with five occupants was traveling southbound on All Angels Hill Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. 11-Year-Old Girl Killed In 4-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash That Injured Several Others
An 11-year-old girl was killed and numerous others injured when a driver allegedly crossed into another lane hitting two vehicles and then struck a fourth head-on, police say. The crash took place in Orange County in the town of Woodbury around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2020 Honda Accord, operated by Yeraldo Roa, age 34, of Port Jervis was traveling west on Route 6 when he crossed over into the westbound lane striking two vehicles traveling east on their passenger side, a 2019 Infiniti SUV and a 2017 Nissan N20. Nissan Recalls 346,000 Vehicles
Nissan announced that it is recalling nearly 346,000 vehicles worldwide due to potentially Takata airbag inflators that forced millions of cars to be recalled. According to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Takata used ammonium nitrate to create a small explosion and inflate airbags in a collision.
