New Snowfall Projections Released For Quick-Moving Storm Moving Through Region
A quick-moving storm system arrived in the area just after daybreak on Tuesday, Feb. 9, bringing a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain to the area and creating hazardous driving conditions in parts of the region. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. Tuesday to 1 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 for the areas shown in the first image above. The highest snow will be during the morning Tuesday, with snow tapering off by mid-afternoon. A storm system will bring a new round of soaking rain, followed by a big drop in temperatures. Thursday, Oct. 15 will be sunny with a high temperature in the low 70s. Rain Could Change To Snow In Parts Of Region When New Storm System Sweeps Through
A new storm system scheduled to sweep through the region could end as snow in some spots. The storm is due to arrive late in the afternoon or early in the evening Friday, Oct. 16 and continue into Saturday, Oct. 17.
