11 Students Sent To Hospital Following 4-Vehicle Crash Involving School Bus In Hudson Valley A four-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Route 9 in the Hudson Valley sent 11 students and several drivers to the hospital. The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 4699 Post Road in Hyde Park. According to Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson, a preliminary investigation revealed that the collision involved a 2023 Honda Accord and a 2020 Hyundai traveling southbound on Route 9.  At the same time, Benson said a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound when the driver became distracted by something inside his vehicle. 30-Year-Old Found Dead At Hudson Valley Hotel, Police Say Police are investigating after a 30-year-old man was found dead inside an area hotel.  The discovery was made around 7 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, in Dutchess County, authorities said. Officers responded to The Inn at Hyde Park, at 4171 Albany Post Road, for a report of a man who was unconscious and not breathing. Officers found the unconscious man, and Northern Dutchess paramedics and the Hyde Park Fire Department arrived and attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive the man, according to Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson.
