Justin Rodriguez, who has worked for Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus since 2015 and was the director of communications for the county, will now be leaving his job, according to his attorney Chris Watkins. Student Injured In Leg While Riding On School Bus In Hudson Valley Police are investigating after a Hudson Valley student riding on a school bus allegedly sustained a "superficial laceration to the leg." The incident took place in Orange County around 2:40 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5 in the area of Dubois Street, in the city of Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the Newburgh Police Department, officers responded to a reported stabbing on a school bus. Officers located a 17-year-old student of Newburgh Free Academy, who had a superficial laceration on their lower leg. 3 Hospitalized After Car Strikes Pole In Hudson Valley Three people were taken to a hospital following an early morning crash in the Hudson Valley.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Saturday, Feb. 3 just before 4:30 a.m., when a car crashed into a pole on Croton Falls Road in Mahopac near the Westchester border, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department.  Three people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital to be evaluated, firefighters said. The cause of the crash was not released.

It happened in Rockland County around 6:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26 in the village of Pomona on Thiells Mt. Ivy Road (Route 47) in the area of the Hillcrest Firehouse. Neither the identity nor gender of the victim has been released.
