Covid-19: Brand-New CDC Study Reveals Vaccines' Effectiveness Against Delta Variant A study published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveals that the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines at preventing infection may have decreased as the delta variant has become the predominant strain in the United States. Health care personnel, first responders and other frontline workers across six states were tested weekly for COVID-19 over the course of 35 weeks, the CDC reported.
