65-Year-Old Woman Killed After Being Struck By Car In Hudson Valley
A 65-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Ulster County on Tuesday, Dec. 27, on Pine Grove Avenue in Kingston. According to the Kingston Police, a preliminary investigation found that woman, who was riding a bike, was hit by a 60-year-old woman. The unnamed bicyclist was taken to Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, Mary's Avenue campus where she died from her injuries, Kingston Police said. Woman Dies After Being Pulled From Lake In Hudson Valley
A woman died after being pulled from a lake in the Hudson Valley, according to authorities. At about 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18 authorities in Ulster County were dispatched to Williams Lake, in the Town of Rosendale for a water emergency. Upon arrival, the responding units found that Carol Smith, from New York City, had been visiting friends locally and had gone underwater while swimming and not resurfaced, according to the Rosendale Police Department. Hit-Run Driver Sends Pedestrian To Hospital In Area, Police Say
Police are looking for a man who struck a woman who was getting out of her car, leaving contusions over her body that necessitated hospitalization. According to police, the 38-year-old woman was parked in Kingston in the area of 442 Hasbrouck Ave. when she opened her driver's side door and stepped out at approximately 10:24 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29.
