A pickup driver failed to yield the right of way in a crash that killed a 54-year-old man on Route 209, according to police.
The collision took place in Orange County around 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19 in Deerpark.

DWI Crash: Unlicensed Motorist Charged After 42-Year-Old Killed In Region
A motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated and without a license after crashing into another vehicle, killing one person in the region, according to authorities.
The crash took place in Sullivan County around 6 p.m., Sunday, May 21, on Route 55 in the town of Bethel, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.

Man Killed In Head-On, Wrong-Way Northern Westchester Crash
An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a wrong-way crash in Northern Westchester.
The crash happened in North Salem at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, according to New York State Police.
A 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on Titicus Road near Oakridge Road when, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle entered the westbound lane and struck a 2007 BMW SUV head-on, according to state police.
