Child Porn: Tip Lands Capital Region Man In Handcuffs On Sex Crimes Charges, Police Say A 35-year-old man from the region is facing child pornography charges following a tip to law enforcement. Albany County resident Devan Zelezniak, of Guilderland, was arrested Wednesday, June 7, following an investigation by the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. According to police, Zelezniak possessed images “consistent with child sexual exploitation.” His arrest came after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Capital Region Man Attempted To Sexually Abuse Child, Police Say A 39-year-old man from the region is facing charges after allegedly attempting to sexually abuse a young child, authorities said. Louis Maniscalco, of Albany, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 20, following an investigation by New York State Police. Troopers said a concerned person contacted the agency saying they believed Maniscalco had had “inappropriate” contact with a child under the age of 11. Investigators subsequently determined that he had made multiple attempts to engage in sexual activity with the child, police said.
