Road Rage Shooting Leads To Arrest Of Sullivan County Man, Police Say A road rage incident in Sullivan County led to the arrest of a 51-year-old Callicoon man after he allegedly fired multiple gunshots at another vehicle, resulting in a collision. According to Trooper Jennifer Alvarez of the New York State Police, the incident began on Saturday, Jan. 11, with a verbal and physical altercation near the residence of John Paterno, 51, on Warner Road in Callicoon. Second Rabid Fox Found In Town Of Fremont A second rabid fox has been discovered in the region. The fox was found Wednesday, May 8, in Sullivan County in the town of Fremont. 81-Year-Old Man Charged With Fatal Shooting In Area, State Police Say An 81-year-old Hudson Valley man is facing a murder charge after allegedly fatally shooting a 24-year-old man in the middle of the day, New York State Police announced. The New York State Bureau of Investigation in Sullivan County is investigating a homicide in the Town of Tusten following the shooting at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 22.
